Here’s one of the many points this poster has made… that just made sense to me.

where were angry anti-racist asian students last year as overt anti-black racism in the UC (blackface-themed frat party, noose hung up in library, kkk hood put over statue by library…. all, sadly to say, at ucsd)?  many were either silent, being apologists, saying these things were just “jokes” or pranks gone out of hand, antagonizing the BSU and its supporters who were just too sensitive, joining racist facebook groups by the HUNDREDS (anyone remember the “UCSD Students AGAINST the BSU Demands” fb group with over 1,400 members?  or that anti-affirmative action one that said AA-type policies that valued diversity would push out more-deserving asian students out of the UC that gained hundreds of members in mere days)?  it isn’t hard to see that asian american acceptance/integration into US society rests on anti-black and anti-brown racism.  in order to be a “good minority” you need to have  “bad minorities” to be compared to.  that isn’t about winning the myth of the american dream… actually, i guess it is because the american dream was founded upon racism, exploitation, and theft lol.
